Basket Ideas: Weddings PDF Print E-mail

It's always a good idea to include a basket contents list along with the gift.

Bridal Party Gift: place Jordon almonds, paste colored mints, or potpourri in the Business Card Basket or Tea Basket then wrap in tulle.

Place stationary, thank you cards, note cards, stamps, etc. into the small Picnic Basket. The wooden divider makes a great writing surface - fits right in your lap.

The Spring Basket or Picnic Basket are great for holding bubbles, gift cards, wedding programs, then give the basket to the couple as a gift.

The Fruit Baskets or Measuring Baskets are great for bridesmaid's gifts.  Give them the baskets during the rehearsal as a gift, and then have the florist place their bouquet in them for walking down the aisle!

Wrap the Address Basket and keep the cards on the table to ask each wedding guest to write their name and what their gift was so thank you notes can be sent later.

Have the mother's of the bride and groom provide their favorite recipes in advanced and place the recipes in the Kiddie Purse Basket.

Have the family sign the bottom of a Generations Basket then place a few lottery tickets inside.

Wrap the Hostess Hamper Basket as a wishing well and gift it to the newly married couple.

Place the following items in the Market Basket (or any large basket): dish towels, kitchen utensils, apron, small cutting board, and other odds and ends.

Put a bottle of champagne and a corkscrew inside the Small Gatehouse Basket (with protector) as a gift!

Make a "Wedding Memories" basket: place newspaper clippings, pictures, any memorabilia of the day and year they couple got married into the Picnic Basket (or any large basket) to be opened on their first Anniversary! inside!
