Basket Ideas: Entertaining and Serving PDF Print E-mail

Use a Generations Basket or Darning Basket (with protector) as a centerpiece by filling it 1/2 with water and place floating candles or flowers in the center.

Use a Workload Basket, Laundry Basket or Chore Basket (with protector) fill with ice can serve as a cooler for chilled canned or bottled drinks.

Place the Longaberger Pitcher or Mixing Bowls in the freezer the night before, then take out before the party to use for dips, drinks, etc.

The medium Gathering Basket (with protector) can hold salad for 15-20 people.

Use the Fruit Basket (with protector) as a bunch bowl, ice bucket, to hold silverware wrapped in napkins, or to chill a bottle of wine.

So many baskets can be used to serve different snacks such as pretzels, chips, candy, etc.: Darning Basket, Button Basket, Bread Basket, Pantry Basket, Tea Basket, Saffron Basket, Cracker Basket, Generations Baskets, Measuring Baskets, etc.

The Darning Basket is great for paper plates, the Berry Baskets are great for napkins, and the Tea Basket or Spoon Basket can hold plastic ware.

Set a pie in a Longaberger Pie Plate (still in the foil pie plate) and then take the protector for the 11î (large) bowl basket and turned in upside down over the pie plate. It fits EXACTLY in the rim of the pie plate.
