Basket Ideas: for the Kitchen PDF Print E-mail

It's helpful to use various baskets to hold misc. items in the kitchen:

The Berry Basket for matches, Bread Basket for herbs and spices, Business Card Basket to hold the sponge, Fruit Basket for paper towels, Gatehouse Basket for trash bags, Kiddie Purse for coupons.

Pantry Basket is great for holding breads, or vitamins and pill bottles, or super and creamer.

The Chive Basket, small Peg Basket or Love Notes Basket are great for holding pens, pencils, scissors, etc. while hanging on the wall.  Hang more than one to twist ties, hold keys, sunglasses, etc.

Many baskets work well on top of the refrigerator to hold cookbooks, plastic wrap/foil, cereals or snacks such as the Spring Basket, Gathering Baskets, Market Baskets, and the Serving Tray.

The Recipe Basket is great for holding soap dispenser, pill bottles, jewelry, a mug with tea and sugar.

The Bakers Rack can serve for many functions in the kitchen:

  •  As a phone center to hold the phone and phonebooks, answering machine, small calculator, stamps and Address Basket.  Use the Pen Pal Basket to hold pens, pencils, scissors, etc. and a Berry Basket to hold note pads.
  • As a coffee center to organize coffee items such as the small Spoon Basket to hold a 13 oz. coffee can w/lid, a Button Basket with coffee filters on the bottom shelf and a Tea Basket with sweetener, sugar and creamer bowls on the top shelf.  You can also use the top shelf for coffee mugs and the Business Card Basket to hold mug covers.
  • As a general organizer to hold paper towels and a Bread Basket to hold coupons and recipes on the top shelf and a Berry Basket for napkins and salt/pepper shakers on the bottom shelf.
